Polly uses like Siri your voice to recognize your text and tries to repeat it per text to speech. Sometimes she adds something like "Polly wants cookie" like parrots would do.
Once Polly recognizes a sentence you can repeat it as often you want by changing the pitch and the speed of Pollys speech output. Have fun :-)
